TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
